This has not been replicated like all of our qPCR data, so this is very early, but we have fusions of DNA between the spike sequence and Chromosome 12 and between the spike sequence and Chromosome 9. We do not consider any single chimeric read to be a candidate for integration.
You must have at least 2 unique reads that represent different DNA molecules (different start or stop points in the genome) covering the junction for us to take the putative integration point seriously. We will explain why in more detail on the next thread.
